This is a life-size replica of Crow T Robot puppet from Mystery Science Theater 3000. He made to the same specifications and detail as the original wise-cracking robot from the show.
The familiar Empire bowling pin head is made with a roto-cast copy of an original along with the classic "e" logo on top. Crow's yellow ping pong ball eyes are in a vacuformed copy of the original soap dish by Schwarz Brothers plastics. The iconic "net" on top of his head cast resin copy of the very rare Cooper XL7 Hockey Helmet face guard.
His eyes are fully articulated via a control paddle mounted near the bottom of the main control rod and can be moved up/down and side-to-side. A pull string running through the control rod opens and closes mouth and turning the control rod moves the entire head 360 degrees.
Crow's main body is made from a Tupperware Floralier flower vase set with shoulders 3D printed using the same specifications as the original Wallace desk lamp from the original.
3D printed connectors and plastic rod are used to construct the arms, and the hands are cast from original pincher toys just like the original. The Hands and arms are movable and can be fully extended.
A custom made 15-inch wooden base comes with each Crow for easy displaying. On the base are SOL, Deep 13 and MST3K planet logos, plus the bottom has felt pads to prevent scratching. When in his base Crow's approximate height is 34 inches tall.
Crow's gold parts are painted to match the original Testors Lime Gold Metal Flake finish as closely as possible with black paint accents just like the original.
