This is a vintage CRAY RESEARCH Inc. (CRI) X-MP Style Double Style Module from the 1980s. It is a 3VR Module which made up part of the Vector Register in the XMP CPU. It is a rare find and perfect for collectors of vintage computing parts and accessories. It comes in the original storage box which indicates that it was part of the spares compliment for the mainframe serial number 232, noted on the label on the box. The module is compatible with CRAY brand computers and was made in the United States.
