Solid Flywheel Upgrade Unit: A stock clutch set up on BMW 318 and Z3 uses a dual mass flywheel. Dual mass flywheels are generally heavy and leave a lot to be desired in terms of performance and durability under both street and track driving. One of the easiest ways to change the driving characteristics is to delete the dual mass flywheel and replace it with solid flywheel that is lighter and stronger. Combination of solid flywheel, ceramic race disc and proprietary performance pressure plate provides consistent performance and clean release under heavy street/track use. Solid flywheel upgrade clutch unit has proven result of faster engine response and dramatic increase in torque capacity.
