Circuit board for Chicago Electric / Harbor Freight's MIG 170 and 180 welders.  These are the 220v welders that have a black case.


  • This board doesn't fit every MIG 170 or MIG 180, there is variance over the years in the style of circuit board.  Some have a rheostat that connects with the board through a few metal tabs that are short (almost no height for rheostat from board) where others have longer tabs (rheostat higher off the board).  There can be an additional plug, or a missing plug on some of the circuit boards.  Please carefully examine the photo.  You will receive a board that is the same as the photo.
