At 79 I’m a retired teacher who was also an antique dealer now beginning to clean out his stock of stored treasures. This hat box is in good shape with circa 1940s graphics around it, judging from the car. There is no printing on it and I almost had concluded that it might be a “marriage” with the wrong lid until I saw the same “courting” graphic on the side.
