Offered here is a sweet and totally unique artifact from Colonel Charles Yeager's Lockheed NF-104A AeroSpace Trainer aircraft.   On December 10th, 1963, Colonel (later General) Yeager made two flights in this historic aircraft to altitudes over 100,000 feet.  On the second flight, he lost control of the ship and was forced to eject.

This specimen was recovered from the crash site in 1999 during a survey.  This is a cast aluminum fitting fragment.  Clear signs of precision machine work.  It is boxed in a glass topped micro mount box and ready for display!  Clearly unique!!!.  Relics of this rarity and quality are seldom, if ever, made available today.  This is a golden opportunity to add a museum quality specimen to your collection.

Set comes with signed CoA and information card.
