This piece is a very hard to find beautiful bronze cast incense burner displaying four elephant head handles with one at each corner of the burner.  The burner is supported on four decorative legs.  The vented finial top of the burner also includes a sculpted elephant motif.

Each of the four legs are decorated with the same scroll work symbol as shown in the photos.  There is a decorated circle Maker’s Mark on the underside of the burner as shown in the photos.  A translation was not available.

The incense burner measures approximately 4½” across from handle to handle and is approximately 7½” High from the bottom of the leg to the top of the removable finial lid.  The lid is nearly 3” in Diameter and sits securely on the 2¾” opening to the burner.  The lid is approximately 3¼” High.

NOTE:  There is a small hole on the leg of the finial top elephant as shown in the photos (which could easily pass as a vent within the finial).  Any repair, if thought necessary, is left to the discretion of the buyer.  Please examine the photos to make your own determination.

This piece is sure to impress wherever it is displayed and is a great conversation piece.  It is also functional as an incense burner and is a wonderful collectible item that would make a great addition to any collection.
