Wide 5 axles are designed for racecars that run the Wide 5 or the 2" 5x5 style rear hubs.     

Manufactured out of special aircraft Hy-Tuff steel and precision machined on a CNC. Shot-Peened and Stress Relieved. Heat treated to resist fatigue. 

• W-5 axles are used with W-5 and 2" I.D. bearing type hubs (Acro, Howe) or 2" type axle tube snouts.
• Axles should be spaced using bolt, lock washer and necessary flat washers to obtain 1/8” - 3/16” of total end play.
The bolt head should be turned to a dull point so only the dead centers touch.
• 24 Spline Drive Plate End 
• 28 Spline Differential End (Not Common - Used on specific 28 spline differentials. Check spline before ordering )
• Axle Diameter is 1.170" O.D.
