GN (Grand National) axles are designed for racecars that run the GN 2-1/2" style rear hubs. They taper at the end to fit the inner axle tube seal. These are all gun-drilled to reduce rotating weight and polished to a fine finish.

Manufactured out of special aircraft Hy-Tuff steel and precision machined on a CNC. Shot-Peened and Stress Relieved. O.D. Polished to eliminate stress riser lines. Gundrilled axles have axle plugs installed.

• GN axles are used with 2.5" I.D. bearing type hubs (Winters IMCA) or 2.5" type axle tube snouts.

• Axles should be spaced using bolt, lock washer and necessary flat washers to obtain 1/8” - 3/16” of total end play.

The bolt head should be turned to a dull point so only the dead centers touch.
