This is a brand new CDI with all new components including a new wiring harness and custom fit case.
All resistors are AEC-Q200 automotive rated for high reliability. 1% tolerance resistors are used, with the exception of a few values that are not available in this configuration. In that case they are 5%.
Capacitors are high quality and made in Japan, just like the original.
New wiring harness with new Hitachi connectors and correct colour codes. Crimped with the proper tools for reliability.
Brand new, custom made galvanized steel powder coated case made locally in York, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. This case looks like the original, and fits exactly like the original. The only difference is our case is an inch taller to allow additional room for the components and potting compound as this was a failure point on the originals. This is unlike our competitors unit, which is mounted on a bracket with plastic case that is zip tied to the bracket and does not allow room for removing the valve cover.
CDI is hand soldered, assembled, and tested by me in the U.S.A. No work has been farmed overseas with the exception of the PCB which is from a reputable vendor in China.
Check your stator and change relay before ordering to determine they are not faulty. Instructions are available on the VHT Forums.

Returns and Warranties:
Due to the nature of sensitive electronics and from people failing to test other components I will not accept returns because you thought you needed it but didn't. Unopened CDIs will not be accepted as a return. Do your homework. If you're unsure if you need a CDI then please message me. Warranty is 30 days. You pay initial shipping back to me. If found to be faulty from a defective component or abnormal PCB failure then shipping cost will be refunded and you will be given a new CDI. Warranty does not cover failure from the stator or the change relay, failure from bad wiring. Instructions will be provided to test these components.
