N-acetylcarnosine, a dipeptide found in muscle and nerve cells, can help maintain protein integrity in the lens and is being studied in eye drop form for treatment of cataracts. 

When applied in eye drops, NAC makes its way to the interior of the eye, where it may have antioxidant effects. Oxidation of lipids in the lens of the eye is thought to contribute to cataracts. NAC may also help prevent cross-linking of proteins, another factor behind cataracts. N-acetylcarnosine has a wealth of properties which can improve the function of the aging eye.

Hyaluronic acid is excellent at retaining moisture and the structure in the central part of your eye known as the vitreous humour is primarily composed of this substance. It helps to keep your eyes lubricated and replenishes any moisture that is lost 



Each bottle Contains: 

Glycerin (lubricant) 1.0% Carboxymethylcellulose sodium (lubricant) .03% N-Acetyl-Carnosine (NAC) 4.5%  Hyaluronic Acid 0.3% Potassium Bicarbonate Boric Acid Purified Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative) 0.3% Sterile Water (Ophthalmic Grade Isotonic Solution, pH 6.3 to 6.5) 


Dosage and Use
  • For use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation or to relieve dryness of the eye.
  • For the temporary relief of discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or to exposure to wind or sun.
  • Recommended: Apply 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) twice daily or as needed.



Warnings
  • For external use only.
  • Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
  • To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using.
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.
  • Keep out of reach of children. If product is swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
  • Refrigerate for longer shelf life
  • Do not use past expiry date. 
  • Discard contents 30 days after opening
