Catalogna Emerald Endive (Cichorium endivia), also known as a variety of chicory, is known to resemble dandelion with its white stems and dark green leaves. This cool season green sweetens with a light frost, however, will induce bitterness with extreme heat. Perfect for salads, soups, and stir-fries with an asparagus like flavor. Known to taste much like dandelion greens, but a bit milder and easier to eat. Slow to bolt and can withstand mild frost
