BEZEL
A brand new replacement bezel manufactured in 316L stainless steel and PVD coated black/dark grey. Although The PVD process is unable to match the black of the original resin part, it still has a high level of contrast with the case and complements the dial colours.
SCREWS
Made in a limited batch using highly corrosion resistant 316L stainless steel. An accurate reproduction that has been machined to match the original screw to within +/- 0.05mm.
As per the original, the head of the screw has been polished to a mirror finish.
Fitting instructions.
Note: the original bezel screws have been fitted with a thread locking compound. Slow and careful removal by hand is essential to prevent the screws from breaking within the case.
You will need a flat screwdriver that's between 2 to 2.2mm wide and around 0.4mm thick.
1. To remove the old bezel screws, carefully and slowly turn the screw head anti-clockwise 1/2 a turn and re-tighten a 1/4 of a turn. This will help break the factory thread locking compound. Repeat this procedure until the screw is full removed or until very little resistance to unscrewing is felt.
2. Once all four screws have been removed, carefully remove the bezel and clean the bezel mating surfaces with isopropyl alcohol.
3. Refit the bezel and replace with a new set of screws. You may wish to add a hairline amount of low strength threadlocker (such as Loctite 222) using the tip of a needle or pin to part of the thread. Alternatively a hairline amount of superglue can be used, once again applied with the tip of a pin or needle. Ensure no threadlocker makes contact between the underside of the screw head and the watch case.
