Century Tools Digital Forehead Thermometers

This non-contact infrared medical thermometer gun from Century Tools quickly measures the temperature of children, adults, and objects for accurate touch-free measurements.

Small and convenient, this device features an easy-to-read digital LCD screen, is switchable between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), and powered by 2 AA batteries for portability.

Each includes an English/Chinese user manual.

How to Use

1. Choose temperature measurement mode. There are two modes available, human measurement mode and object measurement mode. Press and hold the head/thermometer button for 3 seconds to switch between the two modes. When the head icon appears on the screen, the unit is in human measurement mode. When the thermometer icon appears on the screen, the unit is in object measurement mode.
2. Position thermometer on or up to 5cm away from the object or the center of the forehead.
3. Press the measurement button/trigger, the measurement is displayed after 2 seconds.

In human measurement mode, if the temperature goes above 42°C (107.6°F), "Hi" will appear in the display. If the temperature goes below 32°C (89.6°F), “Lo" will appear in the display. It the temperature is normal, the back light is green, else the back light is red.

Features & Operation

Switching between °C and °F

Press the °C/°F button to switch between degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. Once set, the device will remember your choice for the next use, until changed.

Turn on the laser light

Press the light bulb button for 3 seconds to turn on or off the laser light.

View the records

Press the M button to view the past 10 measurements.

Replacing the battery

When the display screen becomes dim or displays nothing, please replace the batteries. Open the battery door with your fingernail, insert two new AA batteries, and then close the battery door before use.

Warning: If you are seeing consistently high temperatures during use, please consult a physician.

Important

• Operating Environment: 16°C~40°C with relative humidity of 15% to 85%.
• Do not use thermometer in an environment below 20°C or 50°C above, or the humidity is above 93%.
• Remove the batteries whenever the thermometer is not expected to be used for an extended period of time.
• Do not attempt to measure fire or any heater.
• If there is any temperature difference between the places where the thermometer is stored and where you are going to measure, leave the thermometer in the room where you are going to use it for more than 10 minutes to allow it to reach room temperature first, then measure.
• Make sure the thermometer sensor is not broken and has no contaminants.
• Please check measurement mode before use. (Human measurement mode or object measurement mode.)
• Do not submerge the thermometer in water or expose it to the sun directly for a long time.
• Do not apply a strong shock to, drop, step on, or vibrate the thermometer.
• Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the thermometer.
