I'm a technophobe and new to the world of intercoms. Took a while to install in helmet and set up, but I was taking my time as never done it before and after watching several online videos it was quite as hard as expected. Did have a few teething issues, like Bluetooth intercom with pillion cutting out constantly, but realised was inadvertently touching button on bottom when doing shoulder checks. Realised if that happened I could just say "hey cardo call intercom" and it easily reconnected on the move. Instructions from satnav clear, sound quality on music excellent, much better than I expected. Was on the fence, but decided to take the plunge and really glad I did. One of those things that you don't know how much you appreciate/will improve your riding experience until you try it

Got these as 2up with the missus a lot nowadays, and saves me cranking my neck The Exorcist Style and us having to shout at each other about yet another toilet stop. Only downside is all the singing and yelps.

Always wanted one of these and this kit ticks all the boxes and performs as it says on the box. Sound quality is really surprisingly good and im fussy with sound quality. Functionally its a bit awkward to get used to but once youve cracked it its a sinch. Very happy with this kit and cant wait to use it on a long tour with the boss on the back.
Overpriced and disappointing.

Cardo is expensive and is one of (if not the) leading brands on the market. Everything worked except for the intercom, which kept dropping out - even in line of sight and at just a few hundred metres distance. All settings were repeatedly checked, adjusted, factory reset etc but the fault persisted. Eventually the voice commands and sat nav voice prompts began to fail. At my own expense I sent the units to the Cardo UK agents, PAMA & Co who tested them and pronounced 'No Fault'. But when I used them again the same faults persisted. There's a world of difference in testing in a workshop/laboratory, to using them out on the road in real-world conditions! Would I buy another Cardo? - No.
