Number plates do NOT come with PRE-DRILLED holes.
Due to the various fixing positions on the
Sticky pads are recommended for securing your new number plates. However, for some vehicles a screw fixing maybe a better option i.e. curved or plastic bumpers etc..
Number plates detailing a GB/ENG/SCO/CYMRU Flag are valid to drive within the UK only (Not EU / Europe).
Number plates detailing a UK Flag are valid to drive within the UK and EU / Europe.
Number Plate Installation
The secure installation of number plates is the customers responsibility. It is your responsibility to decide what installation procedure is best for your particular vehicle, all fitting kits and fitting advice we provide with our number plates, are only supplied as an aid to help with the installation of your number plates.
We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to number plates, caused by drilling, or insecure installation by the customer.
Advice affixing number plates using sticky pads
For best adhesion, the vehicle surface must be smooth, flat and 100% clean, free from dirt, grease, wax, sealer and old adhesive residue. Should any of the above remain on the surface, the sticky pad will not adhere securely to the vehicle.
After your vehicle surface has been properly prepped, use an alcohol based cleaner to finally wipe over both the prepped vehicle surface, and the back of the plate to make sure both surfaces are 100% contaminate free. Apply sticky pads symmetrically on the reverse of the plate(s) (In cold damp conditions, gently heat both areas with a heat gun or hairdryer to assist with the bonding).
Hold and press the number plate in measured position against the vehicle, apply pressure for 60 seconds or more, for the adhesive to bond between the two surfaces.
Advice affixing number plates using screws and caps
If you purchase 3D Gel, 4D or 4D Gel number plates, do NOT drill through or close to letters and numbers, as this will cause serious damage, and will jeopardise the structure of the letters and numbers.
If your old plates were affixed using screws, place the old plate on top of new plate, both facing down. Mark original screw holes that are to be drilled through the new plates. Drill gently through the marked area with light pressure (Always be sure to drill through the back of the plates, as drilling the front WILL cause delamination). Start with a small drill bit and then a larger one. When screwing the plates on to the vehicle, do not over tighten as too much pressure can potentially crack the plate. Finger tight will suffice.

Should you (The customer) damage or lose your number plates due to insecure installation, we cannot offer a return or refund. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the number plates are securely fixed to the vehicle prior to using on the road.
