CONDITION: We are happy to offer for sale a really pretty Cambridge pomade box. Pomade was a scented ointment that was applied to the hair. The Primrose (opaque yellow) color is outstanding. Pomade boxes were made in several opaque colors in the 1920s and were part of Cambridge's Community Line. This beautiful creation is in Undamaged Condition without chips or cracks. There are common shear or straw marks in the glass which you see in early Cambridge thick glass like this. This is the way these pieces were made and are part of the beauty of these older glass pieces.
Primrose - Primrose was an early opaque yellow color made by Cambridge in the early 1920s. Many of the pieces made in this beautiful color were part of the Community Line.
