This Native scented aromatic blend of California White Sage and Lavender comes rolled together in a 8 to 9 inch smudge stick that is 1 ½ - 2 inches wide.
California White sage is from the coastal mountains of California. This is a large leaf sage which is prized for its rich aromatic properties. This sage has the one of the strongest scents and burns with a rich smoke. The use of sage is for healing. The smoke is used to bless, cleanse and heal the person or object being "smudged". Sage is used to "wash off" the outside world when one enters ceremony or other sacred space. Objects are likewise washed off with sage medicine smoke to rid them of unwanted influences.
Juniper, also called Sierra cedar, has the wonderful smell of a burning campfire. The aroma helps to relax aching muscles acting as an antiflammatory. Juniper is a cleansing herb and at times in Native American smudging rituals, is blended with cedar to help detox and cleanse for purity and attracts healthy energies, protection and love. Juniper breaks up negative thought forms sent from others.
