The Bosch Ariston GL2.5S/GL4S/ES2.5/ES4 Thermostat (#87387044410 / 7738002302 / 8738711260) is the replacement Thermostat for the Bosch Ariston GL2.5S and Bosch Ariston GL4S mini-tank water heaters as well as for the Bosch Ariston Pro Ti GL2.5TiS and Bosch Ariston Pro Ti GL4TiS and the Bosch Tronic 3000T ES2.5 and Bosch Tronic 3000T ES4 electric mini-tank water heaters.
This part cannot be used for the older Bosch Ariston heaters that do not have an 'S' in the model name (i.e., the GL2.5, GL4, GL2.5Ti and GL4Ti).
This part is not compatible with the 8 gallon Bosch Ariston GL6+, Bosch Ariston GL6+S, Bosch Ariston Pro Ti GL8 Ti, Bosch Ariston Pro Ti GL8 TiS, and Bosch Tronic 3000T ES8 electric mini-tank water heaters.
This part is also not compatible with any of the following electric mini-tank water heaters: Ariston Andris RS and Ariston Andris LUX heaters.
