Suitable for a tremendous range of projects, Bondo Fiberglass Resin can stand alone or be used with backing strips, tape, cloth or fiberglass mat for jobs where you need reliable strength. This trusted fiberglass resin is ideal for resurfacing bathtubs or showers and joins most surfaces together with a lasting bond. Its waterproof formula this material can also be used for boat building and it works as a sealer for concrete or damaged and rotted wood and it is excellent for repairing, rebuilding and recreating damaged fiberglass on snowmobiles, boats, personal watercraft and more. The cured resin is compatible with nearly any paint system including gel coat and marine paint. Easy from Mixing to Sanding. Along with its strength, Bondo Fiberglass Resin is also simple to use. It is easily mixed using the included Bondo Liquid Hardener, designed specifically for use with Bondo fillers and resins. It is sandable in less than two hours. Use During the Fill stage of the 3M Body Repair System. Even a small repair can seem complex at first. So 3M Body Repair System simplifies the entire automotive body repair process by dividing it into four stages Stage 1 Prepare: This stage includes pulling dents, removal of paint and rust and efficient, effective masking of the area. Stage 2 Fill This stage involves patching holes with reinforced filler and smoothing and shaping filler before painting. Stage 3 Paint This stage includes painting the area and blending and smoothing primer and paint. Stage 4 Finish The final stage for showroom-grade results: removing small defects, sealing and polishing clear coats and other painted surfaces.
