For sale is the first UK offer of an MGU head unit virgin service.
After the BDC or headunit is replaced on vehicles with an MGU headunit it will enter a state known as “Component Protection”
In order to remove this the headunit must be bench prepared to allow the removal of component protection. Once face unit is returned the process is finished in the vehicle where a PC and ENET cable will be required. Once the CP is removed the vehicles original enabling codes will be enabled and restored ensuring the vehicle is future dealer proofed should it visit a main dealer for work. This is a unique service offered as many providers will leave the units with patched non OEM enabling codes. Also, the unit will be supplied with a genuine and OEM LIFETIME map enabling codes which means you will never need to pay for a map update again. All that’s required is to download the map data to a USB.
This is required when a BDC becomes faulty and is replaced or when the headunit is replaced due to a hardware failure. In order to use an MGU after hardware replacement it must be virginised first, this is where I can help.
The headunit must be removed and shipped to me directly, once received I will manage the unit and return within 48 hours.
