Clutch plates are perforated for better cooling and VISCOUS effect due to viscous resistance of oil stuck in holes between dog ear plates.

It is well know that drilled brake discs have improved cooling over solid discs! The situation is the same with LSD clutch discs.

While your differential is out from the car, you may consider replacing bearings and oil seals as well

By replacing the existing clutches with new, you will refresh your differential and restore its original performance, so it will work like new.

We recommend professional installation and oil replacement. Use oil for limited slip differentials only.
