Condition: New and made of space age plastic and Carbon Steel. The Flex-O-Tool birds nest release removal tool is fully retractable for safe storage. Accessing tight spaces where sewing scissors cannot reach. When fully extended the tool will bend to an angle flat to release those tangled threads from your sewing machine throat plate without damage to your project.
If your fabric is tight against the sewing throat plate you will need to rock your fabric back & forth, side to side and up & down to loosen the fabric to make room for the removal tool. You may need to rock the hand knob on your machine while making room for the tool. Extend the tool full length, then lift up your fabric and with a little downward pressure on the tool flatten out the tool tip flat parallel against the sewing throat plate then move through the threads only once. If there is a lot of thread you might need to use a sawing motion to release all the threads, just remember to lift your fabric up and out of the way. Those threads have now been released from the machines sewing throat plate and bobbin. Your fabric is damage free from lifting it above the removal tool. After using your new birds nest removal tool, you will wonder where this tool has been for all your sewing life.
