Benson Amps x Non-Human Audio Florist Dynamic Modulator Effects Pedal - Yellow
Delay/Chorus/Vibrato Guitar Pedal with 2 Wet/Intensity Controls, Dry Control, and Ghosts Switch - Yellow
Let Your Experimental Side Blossom
The Florist Dynamic Modulator represents a collaborative effort between Benson Amps and one-man-army boutique pedal builder Non-Human Audio. This exchange of ideas leveraged an already open-minded approach to delay pedal design with Non-Human Audio’s pedal, the Slow Loris, and lept forward to give bloom to an incredibly diverse and dynamic sound machine. The resulting Florist Dynamic Modulator is more than fine-tunable multi-delay or chorus effectors — it combines elements of slapback-style delays and sprinkles in hints of reverb and vibrato to create out-of-this-world soundscapes. Two primary effect styles are on tap to sculpt your own spacey sonic textures, each with its own Wet and Intensity controls. Add in your base guitar signal with the Dry control to balance out your aural masterpieces, then push them into far greater levels of abstraction by adding additional sound-twisting effects with the Ghosts switch. With all of the versatility provided in this single enclosure, the sonic possibilities even extend to vocals, drums, and synths. Indeed, the Benson Amps Florist Dynamic Modulator is destined to ignite a journey of endless tonal exploration.
Ample soundscape possibilities
The original Slow Loris from Non-Human Audio is described as a “Dynamically Modulated Slapback” effect, delivering varying levels of delayed modulation as dictated by your pick attack. Chris and Dave doubled the formula for the Florist, featuring two distinct delay lines, each with their own dedicated intensity and volume controls. The result? All the same dynamic chorus- and vibrato-inspired sway of the original Slow Loris, along with the ability to explore far stranger territories that range from zero-through flanging sounds to tri-chorus tones. In fact, Benson tells Sweetwater that the Florist is capable of “borderline conventional” modulation sounds. However, the true fun is found in diving into the farthest reaches of the Florist’s esoteric extremes.

Benson Amps: supplying boutique tone since 2012
The quest for the ultimate tone can lead guitarists down a seemingly endless path. For Christopher Benson, a self-described "relentless tinkerer," the journey led him to take matters into his own hands. After stints as an amp tech around the Pacific Northwest — and with his flagship Monarch amplifier design already in tow — Benson introduced his eponymous company in 2012. Leveraging meticulous quality, practical expertise, premium components, and a passion for vintage-inspired design, the Oregon-based outfit aims to create original circuits that effortlessly transition from euphoric, rich cleans to glorious harmonic distortion with a mere change in pick attack. Whether it's a meticulously handcrafted pedal or a no-compromise handwired amplifier, players seeking tonal nirvana owe it to themselves to plug into one of Benson Amps' heirloom-quality offerings.
