Behringer ADI21 V-Tone Acoustic Driver Direct Recording Preamp/DI Box
1315669859296
The Behringer ADI21 lets you shape your acoustic guitar's tone with natural acoustic tone shaping. With its 3-band EQ with sweepable mids, it effectively eliminates the harsh harmonics of piezo pickups for a smooth, rich unplugged sound. Blend the amount of modeled tone with your instrument's direct output using the intuitive Blend control. The resulting sound is more natural with added warmth.
Shape Your Tone Naturally With 3-Band EQ
The onboard 3-band EQ with sweepable mids gives you precise tone shaping to keep feedback under control. Cut or boost lows, highs and sweepable midrange frequencies to craft your ideal acoustic tone. Dial in the exact EQ curve you need for each venue or recording scenario.
Blend Direct and Modeled Tone
The Blend control lets you mix your instrument's direct piezo pickup signal with the ADI21's proprietary microphone/tube emulation circuitry. Blend just the right amount of natural tube warmth into your direct tone. Use it as a straight D.I. box or combine it with amp modeling—the choice is yours.
Eliminate Harsh Piezo Pickup Tones
The ADI21 works to tame the notoriously harsh treble and thin bass of piezo pickups. The modeling circuitry adds back the missing warmth and saturation for a studio-mic'd sound from your acoustic's pickup. Your audience will hear a rich, balanced tone even at high stage volumes.
Clean Noise-Free Operation
With both 1/4" TS and XLR outputs, you can send a low-impedance signal to the PA or mixer. The ground lift switch eliminates hum and buzz from ground loops. Run it off a 9V battery or optional 9V DC power supply (sold separately) for clean, noise-free operation.
