This is a beautiful "Trade Era" Violin that was built in Germany in the early 1900s. The quality of the figured Maple back and neck are exceptional. All repairs have been made and it is ready to perform. The violin sounds as good as it looks. The tone is very clear and has a very open projection as well as good volume and an aged rich tone. I believe this would make a fantastic fiddle for folk or traditional music as well as a good intermediate violin for classical. The violin has Obligato A,D, and G strings with an Eva Pirazzi E string.
