A beautiful French solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the Minerva Head silver mark and the makers marks of Victor Bovin who operated in Paris from 1897, I would date this piece to c1910. It has been superbly made being of circle form with the lid being engraved GC. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.5cms) across by 0.75 inches (2cms) tall and weighs 21 grams. A very pretty high quality piece.
