 I have aquired a Trailer Load of Thousands of Don Hume Leathergoods. These are CLASSIC & VINTAGE NEW, old factory stock, Never used, never sold to the public.
Items offered and in EXCELLENT, fully serviceable condition, as the day they were made.
Some however were facotry overuns or 2nd choice, often for just a misplaced stitch, or slightly wrong color match to standard. There may also be some very minor marks from storage and handling.

COMPANY INFO:
DON HUME LEATHER GOODS, of MIAMI OKLAHOMA had been a holster maker since the late 1940's when he started a small operation out of California. Hume, a former La Mesa, California Police Officer and later a San Diego County Deputy Sheriff; Don always had a bent towards law enforcement equipment.

Don, a quieter and less flamboyant type, has always made an excellent holster, and his products were well known throughout the West and later nationwide. in the 1950's, as he grew, moved to Miami, Oklahoma. He perfected the rugged rigs of his day, and created new styles and developed new ideas as the company grew.

He worked at various times with the likes of ELMER KEITH, BILL JORDAN and other famous shootists in holster designs and patents.
The biggest footnote in Holster History for the Don Hume Company would probably be the development and marketing of the BILL JORDAN BORDER PATROL design, and having it overseen by Bill himself, a personal friend of Don Hume.
Don Hume Leathergoods does continue today in its Oklahoma location, though Don is long retired. Their quality has seen many other makers come and go.
This is for a New, old factory stock, POLICE style duty belt by DON HUME, of Miami Ok. It is
PLAIN BLACK, a rare finish and out of production today.
It has a full length 4 line decorative stitching.

This is model B120P and bears the HUME name logo
No synthetics here, this is an AMERICAN, old school, ALL LEATHER, double thick belt with equal 6/7 ounce leather pieces sewn and laminated together for full strength and durability...the interior side fully smooth finished. Designed for Police or Security duty holsters and gear, this belt is also an excellent hunters accessory belt as well.
The belt uses a Hook & Loop, AKA V*LCRO closure, with no need for a buckle.
The reinforcing V*elcro Flap uses a stud & "Keyhole", hidden, out of sight fro extra security.
A strip of V*elcro on the tip lays the tongue flat.
The belt offers a clean look to the front. And no shiny objects like a buckle to make a shiny target.
The belt is 2.25" wide which will hold standard police gear and holsters.

The overall length measurement is 48"
There are 7 Stud Closure holes
From the hooks to stud to the nearest closure = 32"
From the buckle to the middle closure = 34"
Frrom the buckle to the farthest closure = 39"
It should fit 33" & 34" waist with comfort. This is worn OVER your underbelt .
Highly Recommended you measure your actual waist size, with pants and underbelt on, and get the proper fit for you.
