I have acquired a Trailer Load of Thousands of Don Hume Leathergoods. These are CLASSIC & VINTAGE NEW, old factory stock, Never used, never sold to the public.
Items offered and in EXCELLENT, fully serviceable condition, as the day they were made.
Some however were facotry overuns or 2nd choice, often for just a misplaced stitch, or slightly wrong color match to standard. There may also be some very minor marks from storage and handling.
I got a great price...and so will you!

COMPANY INFO:
DON HUME LEATHER GOODS, of MIAMI OKLAHOMA
has been a holster maker for Since the 1950's. A former La Mesa, California
Police Officer and later a San Diego County Deputy Sheriff,
Don always had a bent towards law enforcement equipment.

Don has always made an excellent holster, and his products
are well known throughout the West.
Don, a more unassuming and less flamboyant type,
started his holster business in La Mesa, California. It sprung from his hobby of
making holsters while in the Navy in the early 1950s. He opened a "garage" shop
during his next 7 years while serving in the local
police departments
Later he devoted his full time to his business and moved to Miami, Oklahoma where he operated out of a 10 acre, 25,000 square foot building.
He perfected the rugged rigs of his day, and created new styles
and developed new ideas as the company grew.
He worked at various times with the likes
of ELMER KEITH , BILL JORDAN and other
famous shootists of the old days in holster designs and patents.
The biggest footnote in Holster History for the Don Hume Company would
probably be the development and marketing of the BILL JORDAN BORDER PATROL design, and having it overseen by Bill himself, a personal friend of Don Hume.

This is for a NEW, old factory Stock, RIVER/RANGER style belt by DON HUME, from the original Maimi, OK Location. It is a handsome BASKETWEAVE BROWN leather.
A finish no longer in production
Hume marketed them as an "OFFICER'S" Belt
It is style B112, and bears the DON HUME logo.
This is vintage, old school 9/10 ounce American Cowhide, select leather.
Not the thinner stuff you see today.
It has TRUE billets that are 9 ounce leather.
It is single ply with the back side finished smoothed & coated.
A western style with a true billet, the belt uses a horsehoe style solid BRASS buckle. This buckle snaps in and out for easy replacement or cleaning.
The belt is 1.75" wide which will hold standard gear and holsters.
The belt is marked 34
It it 40" Overall Length
It measures 32" to the nearest closure
34" to the middle hole
36" long at the farthest.
It should properly fit a waist size 33-34".
.
This is worn in your belt loops, like a conventional belt or can be an overbelt.
Best is to measure your actual waist size, pants on, thru the loops and get the size best suited for you based on that top avoid returns.
