Loop recording Loop recording mode offers several advantages to the driver. The loop recording mode will continuously record video footage. When the storage space reaches the upper limit, the oldest files will be automatically deleted or overwritten, so the driver does not need to worry about insufficient storage space. Therefore, it ensures that the dash cam always has enough space to record new videos. LoopRecording-1min(Default)/3mins/ 5mins Here select the length(1/3/5 min) of each video clip for the loop recording. This function allows the dash cam to continuously record. Please notice: The dash cam will keep deleting the oldest files automatically when memory card gets full so that it can keep recording over and over.

Easy Installation It is so easy to install that even one person can do it easily. First, determine the installation location and select a location close to the front windshield with a clear view. Then clean the mounting points and clean the front windshield and suction cup with an alcohol swab to ensure a solid adhesion. Then install the suction cup by attaching the suction cup to the mounting point and pressing it snugly. Remember to adjust the position and angle of the driving recorder to ensure a wide field of view and not block the driving view. Finally use the included power cord to connect the recorder to the vehicle cigarette lighter or fuse box. 24H Parking Monitoring

There are two parking modes to choose from:

*Time-Lapse Parking Mode

When you turn off the car's engine and turn the key to the locked position. Then the camera will stop continuous video recording and automatically enter time-lapse 1fps recording mode.

If someone hits your car, and the impact reaches the set G-Sensor level, then the camera will start locking on to a 1 minute video clip, save and lock the video in the "Events" folder > then return to time-lapse recording .

*Collision Detection Parking Mode

When you turn off the car's engine and turn the key to the locked position. The camera will then stop continuous recording and enter impact detection mode, and the camera will shut down.

Now when the camera is in collision detection mode, if someone hits your car, and if the collision reaches the set G-Sensor level, then the camera will turn on > then it will start recording 1 minute continuous video, save the video and Lock in the "Events" folder > then the camera will turn off.

Now when the car is started next time, the camera will automatically return to normal recording mode and start continuous recording.

The function of the buck cable is that it mainly plays the role of reducing the voltage. 

For example, the voltage of the car is 12V, while the voltage of the dash cam is 5V, only after connecting the step-down cable can the 12V voltage of the car battery be converted into 5V output for the dash cam. Therefore, installing the step-down cable can ensure the power supply of the dash cam. 

(For example, the 24-hour parking monitoring function of the dash cam needs to install a step-down cable to realize it).

Besides, it can also protect your car battery. If the car battery is low, in order to enable you to start your car smoothly, the hardwiring kit will cut off the power supply to the dash cam until the car battery has enough power.

Please Always connect with power when using. As it is built in Super Capacitor (Only has a 1mAh Lithium Metal Battery used to memorize time).

Setting Date & Time: Please set the TIME ZONE first based on your location, then adjust the date/time in settings menu.

Some trucks/cars's 12V cigarette outlet is always HOT, which means it provides constant power even when the car is turned off and locked. If this is the case for your vehicle, then the auto ON/OFF feature will not work. And if you leave the camera continuously recording when the car is turned off, then it will drain your car/truck's battery and you might not have enough power to start your car for next time. To remedy this situation, you can do one of the two options:

A：Hardwire your dash cam to your car's fuse box with Hardwire Kit.

B：Change the connection in the fuse box for your 12V outlet to socket which only supplies power when car key is turned to Acc or ON position.
