Used
This is a round, straight sided, hinged top - Victorian COLLAR or Dresser BOX  - made of Satin finished White Opalware art glass.  It is decorated with hand painted blue & purple Violets and trimmed with GOLD embossed scrolls and leaves .  Original, Unlined condition. 

Marked on the bottom in blue with the letters P.M.C. in a diamond - the mark used by the PAIRPOINT Manufacturing Company around the time they merged with the Mount Washington Glass Co. - circa 1894.  It is also marked with the numbers:  2378 / 144.   

Measures:  6" wide,  4" high.
