Antique Oak Wood Desk Top Letter Box, Stationary Holder, Organizer, Cigar Box
As you can see by my title…I am not exactly sure what to call this. We use to call something like this simply a “GENTLEMAN’S BOX”. I believe it to be made in the 1800’s. I think it is oak. It has one drawer and on the bottom it is inscribed. It appears it was given as a birthday gift in the year 1902. It also has old metal hardware and adornments…one of which says CIGARS on the drawer. It also has what looks to be the round shallow holed areas where ink wells would sit.
So…I will call it a GENTLEMAN’S BOX. There are photos that show the measurements and any blemishes. Please look them over. This really is a very nice antique piece.
This item sells just as it is pictured in the photos and as described. Thank you very much!
