Exquisite 19th Century Meissen porcelain sugar bowl with lovely rose handle on lid. See photos for marks: blue underglaze crossed swords, impressed numbers "71", and what looks like an inventory code. Measures 5 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches in diameter. In excellent condition, I see one small discolored spot under the glaze on the bottom rim (see last photo). It features painted scenes in the style of Teniers and floral sprays in vibrant colors. It's accented with a blue/green scale mosaic as well as gilded scrolls and edges. This piece displays beautifully, a wonderful addition to any collection.
