This is an antique, ca. 1900 to 1930, square ladies powder compact of unknown origin. The piece has a raised enamel top in excellent condition, the bottom is a gold tone mesh with only a few of the tiles slightly tarnished. The mirror is in very good condition with a few minor silvering dots. The powder puff and the fabric mesh is in unused condition with slight wear noted on the fabric sides. The clasp does not hold but is intact. The overall measurements are 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" and a depth of 1/2". Please review the photos carefully as they are part of the description. Overall, it appears that the compact was never used.
