ANTIQUE Georgian Wood Jardiniere Planter, Brass Bands & Lion Heads, Footed

The item is a handsome coopered mahogany jardiniere, likely from the 19th century. Key features include: 
-Constructed from beautifully crafted mahogany strips held together by brass bands. (Some small gaps between strips. See photos)
-Features brass lion's head handles on the upper band. (Slight damage, see photos.)
-Rests on three brass paw feet. (Some screws holding feet on appear to not be original.)
-Often used as a planter or wine cooler.
-No liner, which may have originally been used with it.
-Dutch and English versions exist, dating from the mid-18th to late 19th century.
