Presenting an antique George III Mahogany banjo thermometer. Measures 42” x 12”. Selling for restoration or parts. The case is in very nice condition except missing the bead edge at the bottom. All of the exposed instruments appear in excellent condition. All glass at the face of barometer is excellent and intact. The fancy hands on the dial are perfect. The face of the metal dial appears etched. As far as I can tell none of the instruments are working. The brass thumb screw that turns the hands works but does not sit on the pin snugly. A natural knot hole on the reverse conveniently allows opening the door. I do not know what is missing within the housing.
