This "French Ivory" pill box is pretty neat, even though it's been sort of melted in two places. Look at the pics to see what I mean.
French Ivory was the first "plastic" that was invented and it was used from about 1860 until the 1920s.
The box is lined with heavy glass and is otherwise very nice condition. It measures about 1-3/4" across and about 1-1/4" high. It is marked French Ivory on the base.
