Antique French Breton Panel Brittany in Solid Chestnut Wood with a Man

This highly carved chestnut panel is from France and it dates to the late 1800's.  It is in classic Breton style depicting a seated woman.  It is carved with excellent depth and detail.  It is in good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches.  Note that there are a couple of cracks in the panel and one of the spindles is missing (see photos).  Dimensions:  19.5" tall, 19" wide and 1.25" thick.  (1592 3)
