This is an absolutely beautiful and extremely rare antique, circa 1920's coloured lithograph. The inspirational motto print depicts an Art Nouveau style landscape with highly decorative floral inset poem with gold metallic ink boarders.
The poem "We Thank Thee" is attributed to the famous essayist, writer, poet, lecturer and philosopher, Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Though the publisher's name does not appear printed on the motto, it is believed to be the work of the well known Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, OH. The gold metallic ink accents appear on the outer border, the inner decorative inset border and around the dropped capital letters as well as a few other decorative motifs which adds the perfect classic effect for this motto print.
