Antique Compact Basket-Style with Handle Art Deco Engraving Whoopee

Antique compact in basket-style with handle known as a "Whoopee Compact" in period advertisements, but unmarked.  Machine-engraved Art Deco design on lid and underside; engraved frame.  Handle folds flat  for storage or can be positioned as an easel.  Original mirror and powder reservoir.  Measures 2-1/8 inches in diameter and 1-1/2 inches tall with handle raised.  Faint gilt wash over silver metal.  Excellent condition.
