Offered for your consideration is a vintage (antique?) brass SAD iron with slug box, latch closure, and matching brass trivet.
This is a small (travel?) iron, measuring 3 1/4" wide x 5 1/4" long.  It weighs approx. 1 pound 9 ounces.
I don't know if the brass trivet is original to the iron but they fit together perfectly.

Condition - Very Good
  • The iron is used but shows no damage.  
  • The wood handle appears original.
  • The slug box latch works as it should.
  • The trivet is also, used but in fine condition.
