This is a good example of an antique 24 inch parallel ruler manufactured by Stanley Great Turnstile Holborn London which is engraved on the rule together with the owners name Taliesin Jones August 6th 1879. The rule weighs just over 2.2kg and comes in the original box measuring approx 25 x 4 inches. There has been a repair to the lid in recent years apart from which the box is in good condition.
An excellent piece of equipment.
