Beautiful antique Bohemian amethyst glass box / casket hand painted with wildflowers. Purple glass with white floral decoration, it measures 7 3/8 by 2 5/8 inches and stands 1 3/4 inches high. Two tiny chips on the lid with no cracks. Open bubble on the inside that does not detract. Both box and lid are marked with the number 3. Circa late 1800s. Gold gilt under the lid is worn.
