Description
Description - An early antique Henry Disston split nut back saw . The saw blade marked Henry Disston Philalda cast steel warranted . The medallion with an early production eagle & marked Henry Disston Philalda.
Age - ca 1850's
Size - 19 1/4" overall x 14 1/8" x 4 1/8" blade
Condition - Very good with a good straight blade not missing any teeth . The handle is nice , free of any chips or cracks to the wood. The blade looks like it was painted at some point and probably helped preserve the blade. I cleaned the paint off the blade but there is still some overspray on the handle .
