American Lafrance Fire Engine Truck Waterproof First Aid Kit Vintage J.B Davies Pat.1720170 November 1, 1929. Vintage estate find measures approximately 10" tall x 9" wide x 3" deep and weighs nearly 12 pounds. I am not sure what year it is from but the patent date on the box is 1929 and one of the original supplies has patent date from 1931. Only some of the contents are original as shown, the tubes of ointment on the bottom left have leaked and stained the boxes around them and compromised the paint in that area. I have not cleaned anything and this is how it was found, cleaning may result in paint loss where the gel has sat on the paint. Overall a very heavy duty item that appears to have its original paint.
