2.4819 represents a alloy from nickel, chrome and molybdenum with tungsten additive. Due to the high chrome and molyb long time, the material is resistant to chloridion attack. This resistance is increased by tungsten additive. Furthermore, the quality has very low carbon and silicon proposal. Alloy C-276 is characterized by high resistance to many corrosive media under oxidizing and reducing conditions. The quality is extremely resistant to hole, gap and tension crack corrosion. Hastelloy® C-276 is suitable for cold and warm forms and can be welded well with Allen common welding process.

Since the material is well resistant to mineral and organic acids and solutions, Alloy C-276 is mainly used in the chemical industry. The other fields of application from Hastelloy® C-276 pipes are:

• Pulp and paper industry;
• Acetic acid production;
• oil and gas extraction;
• Processing and production contaminated phosphoric acid;

Hastelloy® C-276 is characterized by the following characteristics:
