Grit brushes have thick bristles made of poly with the addition of silicon carbide. This gives a very aggressive clean by allowing the brushes to take better hold ofdirt and grime than poly or nylon. These are used for cleaning stains and heavy build-up on rough and resilient floors like terrazzo, concrete, and non-slip epoxy finishes. They’re also great for stripping the finish or sealant on ceramic and porcelain tile floors and for cleaning uneven floors or irregular terrains, such as floors with grates or drains. They are not suitable for use on wood, marble, high gloss, or easily scratched surfaces.
