Up for sale is this vintage pair of Audio Research AR-28 2 way speakers.
Rescued from my neighbors estate.
I refoamed the 8" woofers with rubber surrounds for years of future service.
One of the tweeters had incurred a finger poke, but I was able to draw it back out with minimal cosmetic damaged.
The speakers have been tested and sound amazing! and are fully functional
Overall in very good used condition considering these are better than 40 years old.
These suckers are heavy weighing in at 24 lbs apiece!
I replaced the grilles with some vintage JVC audio transparent cloth as the originals were quite holy (pun intended)

The AR-28s uses an 8uf capacitor.
