Lock body is aluminum (ABUS calls it Titalium) with hardened steel shackle.
Kwikset compatible - cylinder is rekeyable to your existing Kwikset door key.
Lock is supplied with one key blank as pictured.
Cylinder is combinated to zero bitting (opens with key blank)
This lock works well with Pelican gun and other cases. (we have shorter shackles available at Lockitt if needed)
ABUS 83AL/40 is part of the solid aluminum padlock series and ideal for corrosive environments. As with all 83 series house-key padlocks, the cylinders are available in a wide variety of existing house - door keys, eliminating the need to carry extra keys. Series 2 83 locks have a NANO PROTECT coated steel shackle for extra corrosion protection.
