A Spode Porcelain 21-Piece Part Dessert Service in Pattern 2384. 


Pattern 2384 was made under Josiah Spode II's leadership at the Stoke factory and introduced in 1815. 


The set is in the Imari style, with wide cobalt blue rims with lavish gilding and reserves depicting exotic birds. 


Pieces are marked with uppercase SPODE mark in Iron Red Enamel with pattern number 2384.


Included in the set:

-16 Dessert Plates, 8.375" 

-2 Oval Shaped Bowls, 10.375" wide 

-2 Shell Form Bowls, 8.875" tall 

-1 Sauce Tureen w/ Underplate, 6" tall by 7.375" wide


Good condition for its 200+ year age with the following flaws:

-Hairline crack to one plate 

-Hairline crack to one oval bowl 

-Small rim chip to two plates 

-Base chip to one plate

-Repair to butterfly handle of sauce tureen 

-Lid to sauce tureen has staining, a hairline crack at rim and some cracking on the underside of the finial.
